Distance doesn’t help at all. I’m in California and found out this morning my dad age 64 in Wisconsin has stage four lung cancer that’s spread to his kidneys? I was only able to speak with him shortly and the dr was asking about POA and other which seemed like end of life discussions. This was over the phone. My younger sister is there with him and I’ll be flying out soon. Just seems like uh where did this come from. He was just at work yesterday 😔 I guess I’m just venting cause nervous system still in shock. My was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 but has since been in remission (also 64yo) it was caught early. Does stage 4 really appear like this ??
