Short visit in Picos de Europa (Spain)
A planned trip through northern Spain, with a stop at Picos de Europa National Park along the way. The photos are from a hike in the park.
Hike is around Mirador del Príncipe de Asturias.
Start of the hike, can only be reached by bus or taxi from the foot of this a specific location. Bus needs to booked the well in advance, so the taxi is little more flexible. The round-trip taxi ride cost 12€. There’s also a mountain hut serving local food and drink.
I was a little skeptical about the cows,
but they were very peaceful :)) hike surrounded by hundreds of them. The place offers a wide variety of trails (lengths and difficulties) and, of course, many great views.
