One of these is always seconds away from a breakdown…

… and the other is a Tundra lol. It seems to be a tradition that every time I buy a new Tundra the first thing I tow with it is another vehicle lol.

11.5-12 mpg at 65 mph which is about what my old 5.7 did in the same circumstance. Steady 1800 rpm the whole way with 0-5 PSI boost depending on if there was any incline.

Replace mirror cap to color match?

Recently purchased a 2026 1794 in lunar rock. I hate the chrome mirror cover. I’d like to replace the chrome with a lunar rock cover. Anyone have a source other than going to a dealer?

Not a lot of 6.5s here!

Lost my old Gen 2 in an accident, and I was NOT about to pay $50k for a used 8 year old truck, and the only 6.5 in a color I liked within 200 miles of me was a 1794 so… go big or go home?

Ice plate question

So, I’m gonna be out in the heat. A lot.

PC is a Crye SPC with hard SAPIs and soft backers, non negotiable.

A) is there a way I can get the ice plates in there with the hard plates?

B) I won’t have a freezer I can throw them in. BUT, I’ll have an ice-maker I can fill them with. Is that a feasible option?

This is a new set of living and working conditions for me, so I’m trying to make it suck less but I’ve never needed to look into these before.

Upgrading the Qi charger?

Just bought a 1794 yesterday. I LOVE the idea of the wireless charger, the location is convenient. But holy shit it takes an hour to charge 5%

Has anyone successfully replaced the charger with something more powerful?

Help me feel better about my decision…

Sadly I lost my 2018 Tundra in an accident last week. And I’m about to head over seas for work so I needed a replacement to leave for my family. Long story short, I couldn’t use any of those online options like Carvana to buy a used vehicle, I was stuck with local dealerships…

So I just grabbed a 2026 1794 Tundra.

Seeing the engine posts, I’m definitely questioning my decision (it never occurred to me Toyota would go the way of Ford and Chevy!)

Am I fucked? Can I be reassured?

So I recently got a Stribog. Love it. But the key motivator in a PCC for me was something I can bring along without being as obvious as a full-blown rifle.

But how? I’m sure some other folks have looked for more subtle bags to carry a PCC in. I’ve seen the classic “tennis racket / violin case” suggestions, but I’m looking for something a little less flashy. A generic bag that’s well laid out?

So my traveler car outright exploded today. Bearings everywhere. Total gonner.

Luckily the local used parts guy had an identical replacement along with a replacement for the end caps which were due to be replaced anyway. However, due to the dimensions of the traveler in the cockpit, I can’t actually replace any parts on the track without removing the entire traveler.

So… it LOOKS like it’s six total nuts I remove from six bolts and the whole thing lifts up. But are there any traps? Anything I should be aware of before doing the removal?

Not the greatest pictures, but… it was pretty darn choppy and the camera wasn’t doing nearly so well as my eyes and my augment were.
