Mercado negro question

Can I buy fresh seafood in mercado negro and bring it to a restaurant and then they will cook for us? How much would be the charge? What restaurant do you recommend?

Location:CA - 2024 plumbing project, is there a chance to get our money back?

Location: CA

In 2024, me and my husband had a very big plumbing problem. Long story short, our main pipe was broken due to roots growing inside. We call a local plumber from yelp and ended up paying $99k. Other details will be in this link.

$99k plumbing project

We consult a lawyer thinking that the plumbing company overcharged us, but it didn’t get far as they redirecting us to sue our HOA instead. HOA denies being responsible. We’re lost. Lawyer said we’re in the gray area if we bring it to court suing the hoa

Years have passed and I still think about it. We finished paying through financing, thought I’d move on but I get depressed every time, how much we lost, it’s very painful. I’m blaming myself because it happened when I was still new here in the US, husband is working and I’m home alone when it happened and I have to call plumbers online. I felt like I was taken advantage from being a foreigner and being new not knowing what to do.

Lately I’ve been thinking about it more often, and wondering if I can still sue them, or if we have a strong case and we can get some money back. I need some legal advice.
