I finally obtained the gold trainer card on my childhood save file!
I still had my original save file from my childhood, so I thought it would be cool to go for the gold trainer card. And this last week, I finally got it! I achieved all of the master rank contests as a kid, and obtained all silver symbols + the gold symbols for the Pike and Dome as a teen. So all that was left for me to do was finish up the Pokedex and earn the final 5 gold symbols.
Some other fun stats from this save file:
-The Pokemon with the most ribbons is Latias, with 10.
-The last Pokemon obtained to complete the Pokedex was Huntail.
-The final Frontier facility cleared was the Battle Factory.
-According to the guy in the Mauville Pokemon Center, I shopped 377 times.
-I had 21 Hall Of Fame entries. I originally beat the game with only Swampert and Gardevoir.
-I found 3 full-odds shinies along the way (Poochyena, Shuppet, Phanpy). Poochyena was my first-ever shiny in any Pokemon game!
I think I'll finally be putting this save file to rest soon, and will start a new one.
(Also, sorry for censoring my name. Since this is my childhood save file, my in-game name is just my actual name, and I don't want that attached to my reddit account, lol.)
