Bent glass
This piece is actually bent at an angle, not just curved. Curious what caused this! Maybe from a bonfire, or was the original item made like this?

Just found this large piece with a cool wavy pattern on it, but it’s barely polished on the edges. If I found it anywhere other than the beach I’d consider it garbage and toss it in the recycle bin. Thinking maybe to toss it back and let someone else find it in a few years when it’s really cool. Curious what other people do with pieces like this.
ETA - it has been returned. I live on a tiny beach (about 200 feet long between cliffs) so I don’t get a ton of sea glass and pieces this size are rare, so I was being a little clingy. 😁 But I agree that it’s better to let it get more sanded.
I’ve been drinking yarrow tea during my periods the last several months to help slow down bleeding and it’s been working great. For convenience, I recently bought a tincture, but now I’m wondering if it will be as effective. Does anyone have any idea if the constituents that affect menstruation are more water or alcohol soluble? Thanks!
Found on a bay in Washington state in the US. My best guess is a shrimp of sort?
Since it obviously doesn’t float, does it stay pretty local? Or can it travel with the tides over time? I live on a tiny beach (about 200 feet long, sandwiched between cliffs) and was finding tons of glass when I first moved here, but now much less. I’m wondering if it’ll eventually just be all gone, or if the tide will keep bringing more in.
I just got a Pro account and am having issues with my meeting times being limited. Most of the time the meetings will be limited to 40 minutes, though occasionally they're limited to 60 minutes, and it seems to be completely random. Also, I created a meeting to try to troubleshoot with a friend last night, and we were on for a few minutes, so that the timer counted down to about 35 minutes. Then this morning I deleted that meeting and created a new meeting, and the time for the new meeting started at 35 minutes. Seriously WTF?
I've done all the basic troubleshooting stuff - signing out and back in, deleting and reinstalling the app, etc. I am 100% sure that I only have one account, and when I log in with the browser, it shows that I have a Pro account, so I have no idea what's going on. Please help!
The credit union where I have my business checking account partners with Clover, and I’m wondering if it’s worth giving them a try. I’m starting a tiny business doing online energy healing sessions, so I just need to be able to take online payments. I’m seeing very few clients at the moment so I really don’t need anything fancy, and don’t need to be able to take in person payments. I dislike Venmo and PayPal so am trying to avoid those if at all possible. Curious how Clover is, and I’m also open to other suggestions. Thanks!
I’m new to collecting sea glass and found this interesting piece today. The photos don’t convey quite how twisty it is. If it used to be a piece of something more uniform, it’s seen a lot of wear to get to this state! And in the zoomed in photo, you can see a tiny gray rock embedded in it (center-ish left) and a little purple iridescent spot above and to the right of the rock. I’m so curious how it ended up this way!
