I’m back – my daughter got moved to Wren Hall. She had a single in Carmichael, but they moved her to a double she’s on the fourth floor (we are fine with it- wanted roommate). What can you all tell me about the dorm? Does it have an elevator?
My 15 year old has been going to same sleep away camp for years. It’s a Jewish camp. This year, he changed sessions due to family travel.
Unfortunately, because he is smaller he is easily picked on. Kids in his tent called him really terrible names that are words we never say. They also woke him up in the middle of the night saying there was a fire in the tent next door.
Luckily he had the wherewithal to tell someone and while they addressed it and the bullying decreased, it did continue.
All kids have to sign a code of conduct before going to this camp which includes pretty strong language saying they won’t bully or behave in a way to be hurtful to others. Clearly this is just for show and has no merit. I emailed the director of camp and she basically blamed the victim, praised her staff and took no accountability. Not even sorry he experienced that.
What would you do next? I feel like we likely won’t return but it’s not like the camp cares. But I want to make sure no other kids experience that. I welcome insight. And also what entities do I elevate this do? I think ACA has a complaint section but I don’t think it will result in any change.

Staying with our family of four in Ebisu. Would love restaurant recommendations that won’t break the bank. Happy for both Japanese restaurants and other cuisine. Teens are well traveled and notice eaters.
I started the 1.5 mg pill a month ago and noticed zero difference in weight or food noise. I’m now on 4 mg and have been a week. A little difference- eating less and feeling more full. Down maybe .5 lbs so no real differences yet. I’m taking bc I’m about 15 -20 lbs overweight. I’ve tried everything from ww to other diets and it’s not coming off so this is kinda my last hope to get it off and stop food noise.
