Roofing replacement needed?
We have a 7 year old metal roof installed over top of shingles. The previous roof had several leaks hence the new roof installed by the sellers. We had someone come out and he went into the attic. He pointed out the roof and said the roof was leaking and keeping the wood wet. He showed me the cat eyes and said we would need a full roof replacement since water is leaking through. I haven't seen any mold or visible moisture issues. Do we really need to replace a 7 year old roof?
