Dalip is one character disguised as good man.

Dalip is ultimately the reason Heewab went through so much emotional and physical abuse from many sides. I know Gulab was evil woman and nothing excuses what she did to Heer, but I also cannot completely ignore what Gulab was like at beginning. Apart from being classist, she was not initially someone who constantly forced her decisions on family. In fact, she was emotionally available to her sons from their childhood but yeah didn't raise them well.

*Let's just put Heer’s circumstances aside for a moment and look situation from Brars perspective*

When Dalip forcefully married Nawab to Heer, Nawab made it very clear that he did not want marriage. He did not want to suddenly take responsibility for being husband of a woman who had been forced upon him by his father. When Dalip refused to listen to him, Nawab left house. At that point itself, Dalip should have understood that he had created a serious conflict within his own family and also he and Heer's family are the ones who did injustice to Heer, not Nawab's run away and his fake dating lie or Heer acting as Nawab gf has nothing to do with their extremely regressive pathetic mindset and forced atrocity did by both families.

Whether Heer was a good person or a bad person, whether she was helpless or not, should not even be issue from Brars perspective. Their fundamental objection was that they did not want this situation imposed upon their family by Dalip. He refused to listen to them and kept Heer in that house condemning his family as if it's to take revenge on his son and wife. None of this means Heer deserved what happened to her in that home.

Dalip could have prevented everything between Brars and Heer by keeping them in separate spaces as he saw Heer also strongly opposed marriage just like his son instead of just helping her, he kind of showered love on Heer, making her accept to live in their home and unconsciously accept that marriage. He could have acted as a mediator between Heer and his family instead of simply expecting everyone to accept his decision. According to Brars, Heer was forced on them in their house which is true. Later Brars abuse is forced on Heer which is true. Gulab didn't like Heer but hatred was completely fueled by Dalip's incompetency in acting as man. She slowly became a criminal which probably no one expected her to become.

Dalip was person who created entire situation and then failed to protect Heewab from consequences of his own decision and this exactly repeated in Daler track, he kept on showing himself helpless to Nawab not letting his son to act for his wife neither he acted for Heer till the final day. He wanted to help and protect Heer from starting, but he never took responsibility for what helping Heer actually meant and neither he let Nawab doing it. Imo Dalip who has both age and power is more problematic and toxic than Nawab been.

Privacy for Heewab is a joke

Every single thing has to happen in public because that’s apparently the only way they can fit all the side crtrs ss btw leads moments. It’s ridiculous. Creative team has zero shame while writing that everything happens in public.

Tjjd should stop repeating same scenes it's going out of hand

Nawab really needs to grow up. It’s understandable that, because of his upbringing, he was generally much less mature than Heer. Honestly Heer is way more mature than any average teenager should be and Nawab privileged status and lifestyle never really forced him to develop that maturity before marriage. But by now, he has experienced so much outside world - betrayal, survival, abandonment, harsh realities, saw his all loved ones on the edge of death multiple times and even himself being strangled multiple times just to live life without others controlling him. Experiences like these should change a person and make them more mature.

They have shown his maturity in several tracks, which is good, but it needs to be consistent. He shouldn’t keep reverting to square one every time as a plot device because writers lacks creativity and repeats the same old story. Though his impulsive decisions are many times the right solution to defeat villains but his life experiences should leave a lasting impact on his character and reflect in how he handles situations from now onwards which is again a back step if it's just a proposal rather than a plan.

Concert ke din sach reveal hogi?

Pace is slow but I kind of okay with it. It's much better filler episodes than those humiliation filler episodes right from remarriage.

Shouldn't have gone too far

Personally I'm not liking the route if they want to show SA case. Why to pick every sensitive topic in romcom and dilute it as nothing? Aren't there so much trauma already unexplored from both sides, why add one more to make us feel even more traumatized 🥲

Nawab and Heer should grow as individuals;;)

I've been a silent scroller of reddit and used lurk in this sub. I just created an account today to join and put my thoughts..

Heer and Nawab both deserve to grow as individuals before trying to build a marriage. The story clearly depicts the damaging side effects of a forced marriage. Neither Nawab nor Heer is emotionally ready or trustworthy enough to build a healthy relationship, especially within an institution as serious as marriage. They carry their past traumas, insecurities and flaws into the relationship and repeatedly project them onto each other instead of healing together.

There are plenty of villains and external obstacles in their lives, but ultimately, their own lack of emotional maturity and poor decisions contribute significantly to their breakups. Also people just divide blaming Nawab or Heer but the problem itself is the age and maturity to build a marriage after growing in bad households.

Nawab should grow as a man and Heer should grow as a woman. Irl persons like Nawab and Heer just exhaust their partners with their flaws. It's exhausting to watch but it's also a lesson for young people that they need to overcome their traumas, develop trust, communicate honestly and grow individually before they can realistically build a marriage.
