So many questions
Hi all! Thinking about a floor bed for my 16 month old who doesn’t sleep well currently. He starts the night in his crib then comes into my bed during the night. My thinking is a floor bed with me supporting him back to sleep and rolling away might seem like a more permanent arrangement and hopefully my toddler will feel comfortable there. Anyways, my questions are, what type of floor bed is best? One with mostly rails with a small gap? No rails at all? Best size?
The side comes completely off his crib, it’s not a big drop and I could put a mattress half under for him to roll onto - would that not be a similar set up, or am I missing the point?
Do your children not just constantly get up and out? How do you prevent them leaving the room (he can open doors) I don’t want him locked in.
