Been going out to the usual spots for a while now and honestly most of what gets called techno here is just hard techno with rave stabs and sirens optimized for Instagram. Heard about something called Assembly 008 happening on the 13th and it’s the first time in a while I’ve actually seen people talk about hardgroove/tribal stuff specifically instead of just “electronic music, come dance.
