First Comic
I am really hoping there is somebody here who has the time to read this and the knowledge to provide the perfect answer because I don't want to resort to AI. I wanna get back into comics because I haven't read any for about 12 years, and I know that people say not to overthink which comic to start with overall or for a certain character etc. but that is exactly what I do with everything. So imma just blabber info in hopes.
I am a big film guy(tbh only recently proper got into it) so already love like the MCU for example and am currently watching EVERY MCM project.
I really enjoy symbolic, psychological media. I'm a big art guy, any form of ART is my passion essentially.
Favourite films:ATSV, GOTG3, HP, Birdman, Holdovers, Porco Rosso.
In terms of MCU my favourite character is vision and then when it comes to DC I would probably have to say Grayson, Riddler or Todd.
In terms of comics my current list for possible first pick ups is: Spider-Man Blue, Hulk Gray, Absolute Martian Manhunter-Batman-Green Lantern(the absolute universe seems so appealing), Batman Y1/Long Halloween, Howard the Duck(Zdarsky), Mister Miracle, The Visions, Animal Man, Giant-Size X men. From what I understand I was thinking Vision, M.Miracle, SM blue and Absolute MMH would be my best bets but I have seen so much hate for King and disregard for starting w/ colour series or absolute universe.
Preferably I want a comic that essentially uses the powers as a metaphor for real world issues as well as good comic quip comedy.
