This is a long shot but I'm wondering if someone knows somewhere in Puerto Vallarta that plays live music with people that might take requests. I'm visiting at the end of October and I want to propose to my girlfriend but the only way she wanted to be proposed to was with a musical (lol). I managed to find some loopholes after asking her and this will be the next best thing. The travel planning is a whole other thing I'm working on. I've never been out of the country before so this is new to me. If anyone has any place recommendations or activities we should do as well all is welcome and very appreciated.

Correction from the title since it's not home yet but everything is finalized. I'm getting my first motorcycle! Dealing with my credit union and the dealership was a roller coaster 🙄 but I signed the documents and I'm picking it up finally!

Anyways, I'm writing here cause no one is happy for me. Not my gf, not my best friend, not my coworkers. They all say the same things too. "It's dangerous. It's a stupid decision. Wait until I can get a car. Blah blah blah." It's not like this was my first decision. If I could get a car then I would've but I literally cannot afford it. The insurance plus car payments would've been over $700 a month and that's only basic coverage. The motorcycle payments and FULL COVERAGE insurance is $300 if not less. They don't understand cause they've been driving since they were teens so their insurance is lower and they already have paid off cars. I never had anyone teach me to drive when I was younger so I barely got my driver's license and I'm up for a promotion at work but I need my own transportation for it. (I asked if it could be a motorcycle and they said sure.)

In addition to that, I'm moving in with my gf and further away from work. Right now, I ride a bike to work cause it's super close but once I move, if I don't have transportation then I would have to take the bus. The bus system in my area SUCKS. It's always late, only runs every hour, and I would need to take two to get to work. I would like to see how they would like it to wake up 4 hours before work, wait at the bus stop in blazing heat, take a 30 min ride, get off and get on another bus if you're lucky enough not to miss it, and take another 50 min ride just to get to work and repeat the same process in reverse and late at night.

It's not like I'll be an unsafe driver either. I'm getting all the protective gear regardless if I have to keep changing when I get to work. I took the beginner msf course and I'll take the intermediate and expert classes too. I want to become a part time motorcycle teacher as well. Although, I do get that it's not me so much as it is other people and the drivers in my state are awful and that's just from my experience as a pedestrian. But I'm literally only getting it to ride from point A to point B. I just want someone to be happy that I'm not trecking everywhere anymore.
