Incoming International Med Student at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) – Looking for insights/advice!

Hi everyone, I have just finished my grade 12. And currently my agency is submitting my application for the English-taught Medicine program at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) for this upcoming academic year. Assuming everything goes smoothly with the admission and visa process, I’ll be starting my first year this autumn!
Since I'm moving from outside the EU, I’d love to get some honest insights from current students or alumni about what to expect. If anyone is studying medicine there (especially in the English section), could you weigh in on a few questions?
1 Academics & Quality: How is the quality of teaching in the English section? Are the professors supportive, and how are the practical labs/clinical rotations at the county hospital?
2 The "Non-EU vs EU" Dynamic: I know the intake timelines are separate, but we share the same classrooms. Is the student community well-integrated?
3 Language Barriers in Clinicals: Since the course is in English but hospital patients speak Romanian, how early do we need to be conversational in Romanian to get the most out of clinical years?
4 Student Life in Sibiu: What is the vibe of the city for international students? Are the medical student societies (like SSMHS) active?
5 Post-Graduation Pathways: My long-term goal is to do my residency in Germany or Austria (I’m already learning German side-by-side). Have any graduates from ULBS successfully made the transition to the German/Austrian healthcare system? How well does the university prepare you for it?
Any tips on finding accommodation near the Faculty of Medicine or things you wish you knew before your first year would be incredibly appreciated.
Thank you so much!

About to take admission in Serbia in University of Novi Sad for my medicine...

Hello guys! I have finished my grade 12 and I am about to take admission in the university of Novi Sad in the faculty of medicine as I always had interest in this field and I would like to know the following things:

  1. Diversity: What is the international student community like at the Faculty of Medicine?

  2. Cost of living: What's a realistic monthly budget for rent and food right now? (I heard it's around 300-350 euros but if it's wrong please correct me.)

  3. Study Spots: Are the faculty facilities good, or are there better libraries/cafes to study in?

  4. Language: Will I be okay with just English for daily stuff while I start learning Serbian?

  5. Accommodation: Are international students eligible for dorms, or should I look for a private apartment immediately?

Any suggestion or advice is deeply appreciated.
