Will this ruin missions? (Read desc)

I'm a F2P player, and since I'm still on 3.4, and wanting to take it slow, I want to know if pushing "unlock now" will get rid of all previous missions, or ammediatly cut through the story, making me go to planarcadia, or just overall replace the 3.4 mission?

BTW, I know doing the event overall might be spoiler filled, but I'm gonna skip the story aspects, since this isn't a permanent event, plus, I know most of the current story! (Sorry for my bad english)

Lose 50/50 but still pull (red desc)

So, let's say I lose my 50/50, but I pull again until I get the 5 star banner character, does that still get me a garenteed or anything that would help me mext banner?

I know this is a really stupid question, but I'm rlly curios... (sorry for my bad english)
