I have been thinking about making a routine of cleaning around Vallejo (also unrelated, but if you know any cleaning volunteer groups let me know!). I want to do this with an overall goal of making an impact on Austin Creek/Pond behind eco thrift.

I’ve seen the drone footage of that area and it seems to really have taken a toll on the environment/habitat. I also notice this a place for homeless to camp out at. I don’t want to displace anyone, or interfere with their living. I just want to help clean that area as much as I can.

I am not sure if there might be distaste from people over there, or if they would feel defensive for any reason. Any insight? I’d like to do this, but safely.
