Hi, I currently work at APL as a software engineer. I did both undergrad and grad school in computer science. Been at APL for two years after my masters, so I have a good understanding of how radars work plus we also work with Lockheed for a lot of our projects. I am from upstate NY and have been thinking about moving back to be closer to family with the sole condition that I negotiate a higher or similar salary at LM. I’m currently at 130k base salary.

Anyone has any thoughts about this? APL has been 10/10 and I would consider staying here for the rest of my life given my flexible schedule and group culture. But sometimes I miss home and would save up rent money by staying a few years with family.
