How long does it take DOS to upload NOS received status

Hi all. I sent my waiver application packet to DOS and the status shows it was received on April 17th. My embassy sent the No Objection Statement a few days later but until now, it doesn’t show as received on the status.
Has anyone experienced this before? Do they update NOS received or do they do the processing then update it? I’m thinking about asking them but I wonder if it’ll jeopardize my application. But then I may be waiting and they never received my NOS. Any advise?

Inflammation/bloating/swelling post lap myo op

I’m now 10 dpo from a robotic lap myo and still very swollen or bloated or inflamed or all three. I can’t tell the difference. My tummy still looks like what it did with the fibroid in there. I know we all heal different so I’m curious how long it took you (if this post applies), to see a difference in tummy size. Thank you ladies 😉

Edit to also ask when and how did you start to side sleep. I’m still afraid to do it but my back is so tired now. Any tips?

Sensitive navel

Hi ladies. Has anyone felt a sensitivity kind of sensation on their navel after laparoscopic myo? I removed my plastic covering on the navel incision like two days ago, and now it just feels sensitive and raw, it’s not painful though. But it makes me feel like it’ll rip open if I even rub my lounging gown on it. It has glue so maybe won’t rip but that’s how I feel. So today I put back a gauze around it but the sensitivity is still there. Anyone felt this? Did you do anything about it? How long did it last?

Robotic lap myo done on May 22 🙌🏽

At day one post op, I still need help getting up and onto the couch and bed. I’ve managed to pee by myself, but we’ve raised the toilet it abit.
Gas pain is still killing me but I can tell it’s getting better now. No longer shooting at my shoulders as much. I’m taking walks in the house, but I have a hard time remembering to stay upright. My instinct is to crouch and hunch my back. Peeing is the other painful thing. As the bladder gets empty it hurts af. I’m hoping that resolves soon. Wedge pillow and hysterectomy pillow are my best friends. I’ve been using heat and cold compresses occasionally. I’ll post my surgery photos on a later update.
At the MRI which was in March, my fibroids were about 8cm, 6cm, 5cm, and 4cm and then I don’t know the size of the several smaller ones as they never showed on the MRI but had showed on the transvaginal ultrasound done in October 2025.

I feel like it’s too soon to say how I feel but I can’t say I feel terrible.

At 2 dpo, I feel stronger than yesterday. Had my first BM aided by senna, pretty decent. Peeing didn’t hurt as much. I was surprised at how hollow I felt when I emptied my bowels. It’s like there’s too much room and everything was vacuumed inwards. I’m so used to my stomach being full all the time.
Tummy still swollen. Resting as much as I can. I keep needing to cough but I’m avoiding it in fear of pain or tearing my sutures 😩 so I’m coughing in bits lol.
I’ll keep posting updates here and there. This group has helped me SO much to prep for surgery.
