DSA chapter

hello! i'm not sure how active this sub is or the demographic that uses it, and i know this is a long shot, but i am looking for any people in zanesville who would be interested in starting a local DSA (democratic socialists of america) chapter or joining one. i can't ask about this in any local facebook groups due to the rules so i figured i would try here. thank you

am i out of options?

i applied as an in-state transfer student for engineering a few weeks ago and was accepted. my decision to transfer was last minute for a number of reasons that don't really matter, but ultimately i obviously missed the fafsa priority deadline. OSU calculated my estimated financial need to be 30k but gave me no need-based aid at all. i understand that it is my fault for missing the deadline but regardless i cannot afford 30k per semester.

i emailed and asked if there were any further options or if there was any way they could reconsider/appeal. i was told i am not eligible for an appeal and the only advice i was given was to email my major's department and ask there.

i emailed the dept of engineering and am awaiting a response but i presume nothing much will come from that. does anyone have any insight as to any further actions i can take here, or am i just screwed? thanks in advance LOL

can someone help me make sense of finaid page?

sorry in advance if this is dumb. recently got accepted as a transfer to osu. i have a few other options but it all comes down to which has the lowest cost. all others sent me a comprehensive letter that clarified what my actual, final cost of attendance after all aid would be.

is that info somewhere in these pages and i'm missing it? am i supposed to subtract the "need" from the estimated cost and go off that? will they send me more definitive info later?

hi guys! me and my boyfriend visiting tomorrow and staying for about 10 days. we don't have much planned as we figured we'd just explore and take it slow, but i thought it could be fun to see if there are any cool local events or small festivals and such going on during this time. i am under 21 if that matters. thank you in advance!!

i'm 20F and have been seeing my current therapist since i was 15. we did the initial assessment during my first appointment back then and she asked about previous diagnoses. i told her i had seen several therapists before this, all of which concluded i had bipolar disorder. she told me i was too young for that diagnosis so she wasn't going to put it in my chart.

i had to renew this assessment recently. my therapist had me do it with a different person at the clinic because she was not available at the time. at the end of the assessment, the different person told me she was very concerned about bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder and she had noted it in my chart for my therapist to discuss with me further.

that was about a month ago, i've seen my therapist 4 times since then and she has not said a word about it at all. she discussed all the other comments the person put in my chart after the assessment, but completely avoided those two. my boyfriend has suggested i bring it up to her instead but i feel weird and anxious about doing so because i feel like she must be ignoring it for a reason. i don't know why this is happening or what i should do
