What are your Questions, taboos, frustrations about menstruation?

Hello! For a school project (I study illustration) I am making a little booklet filled with comics and illustrations about everything period related. I am focusing on how absurd it is that what should be a normal topic has so many taboos around it. I would like to know if there are any scenarios or moments in your life where you’ve experienced the taboos and misconceptions around periods. What would you have liked to know earlier about them? What should be taught in high school or even middle school but isn’t?

What would you have liked to know earlier about your period?

Hello! For a school project (I study illustration) I am making a little booklet filled with comics and illustrations about everything period related. I am focusing on how absurd it is that what should be a normal topic has so many taboos around it. Why do we take our period products to the toilets in secret? Why are we scared of leaking through? I would like to know if there are any more scenarios or moments in your life where you’ve experienced the taboos around periods. What would you have liked to know earlier about them? What should be taught in high school or even middle school but isn’t?
