I'm on Season 3 Episode 7 where Leonard and Penny had a fight. I really felt bad about Sheldon. Given that he has eidetic memory, he remember all of his parents fight word for word. He's traumatized to the point that he will go back to his childlike state whenever someone's fighting. Got irritated when they add the laugh whenever Sheldon says his experience when his mom and dad fought. I get that it's a comedy show, but still. I'm watching this show for the first time ever, I've seen clips of it in social media and also seen clips of Young Sheldon.
