I’m trying to remove the “A” from my CPC-A. What type of documentation does AAPC ask for from the employer?

Do they need just a simple letter on company letterhead, or is there a specific template or format they prefer? Any details on what the letter should include (dates, duties, etc.) would be really helpful.

Does anyone here work for PathGroup? ...work environment, pay, management, pros/cons, anything helps.

I’m about to start a new job as a floater phlebotomist in Tennessee, USA, and I wanted to get some opinions from people in the field.

The offer is $23/hour + mileage reimbursement. The role involves traveling between different locations, so it’s not a fixed site position.

For those of you with experience in phlebotomy or similar roles:

• Does this sound like a fair pay rate for Tennessee?
• Is being a floater worth it compared to staying at one location?
• Anything I should watch out for (schedule, burnout, mileage policies, etc.)?
