I got in accident on freeway when another car and my car try to merge onto same lane at same time and hit each others side. Both of us believe it’s each others fault and their insurance denied our claim and insurance denied their claim. I repaired my vehicle using my collision coverage and paying the deductible. Today I received a letter from my insurance stating they decide to close the case and not enter arbitration due to not enough evidence but believe that the other party is at fault.

What does this mean?

Will my insurance rate go up in future ?
Did the other party insurance decide not to enter arbitration too or they can still request one?
