Heterozygous genetic diseases?

I’m currently taking genetics in college, snd it got me wondering. There’s recessive genetic diseases, snd dominant ones, but are there any that only show symptoms if you’re heterozygous for the allele? And that aren’t on the X chromosome, preferably.

How to link to text in a page on Archive of Our Own

So, this is specifically Archive of Our Own, and it doesn’t accept all html. So that’s why I specified. Also, I’m asking on this subreddit instead of theirs, because they restrict it every Tuesday.

I’m trying to create a reading order for a fic that jumps around in timeline quite a bit, even within chapters. Normally, I would mark sections or something, but I have a feeling that won’t work in this case (too much to track). Is there a way to use regular links to link to different sections on a page? Not from the same page, mind you. I feel like I’ve seen it before, but idk how to do it.

Keep in mind, I’m a complete newbie when it comes to HTML. The most complicated thing I can do are links, so be sure to explain it well (and I hope the solution is straightforward ).

You really do need to hit all islands with the spore bursts (fungus speedrun)

I got problematic island... except for Greenland and Iceland. I got Russia though, so it shouldn't have been a problem, right...? But no. They got infected eventually, but infecting Iceland cost me those 10 days. There's no way it's possible to get sub-200 days without infecting every single one with spores.

What family Means by RookieLover96

The fic had a similar idea to the 9-1-1 episode Powerless; in this fic, while on a call, Celina is raped by a suspect with her radio transmitting. The fic was deleted some time between 1 am PST and 10 am PST, because I had actually started reading the fic last night. Couldn't download it unfortunately, because Kindle won't let me download PDFS :(

I just don't get why the author would do this. It's not like they changed anything; they literally posted a fic soon after I woke up.

Why do more runs succeed when you just start playing in the morning?

I've noticed a strange trend. If I've been stuck on a plague for Pirate Plague or Shut Down Everything for at least several days, one morning I'll succeed on the first or second try. Once is a coincidence (Pirate Plague Nano-Virus), but two (Pirate Plague Bio-Weapon) is a bit odd, and three (Shut Down Everything Nano-Virus) seems like a pattern. Is this an actual thing, or is this somehow all coincidental?
