my Chapter 6 prediction... aka, why I'm confidently hopeful about kriselle(Frozen Memories)

Before we begin... a few things.
Firstly... i didn't know what to tag this post as...
Secondly, there's another ch6 related prediction i have, but i thought i'd keep it to it's own post to not bloat this one.
Thirdly, I will express this in a storytelly way because i think it'll be more fun...
Fourthly, sorry for the 3am writing
And lastly, the actual prediction is more in the loose outlines of what happens, the rest is there to weave a nice story around it... like i said, it's more fun that way.

without further ado... let's begin...

Part 1: Something's off at the welcome party

Noelle, Susie and Kris meet up, unsure what the context but it doesn't matter that much. Noelle is not doing to well, but she's trying to hide it, and will brush it off if asked about it. Susie doesn't notice anything off, but we might, and kris probably senses it too. Noelle gets invited to castle town. She accepts, and seems glad to have something to take her mind off of whatever it is that's bothering her.

"Dark worlds are real? Magic is real?" Noelle seems quite excited about the revelation... tho paradoxically she seems to have her minds somewhere else. She'll stick around for a tour and for some fun with the fun gang...(including that one thing i elected to omit). But she she chooses to leave early... she has something to do at home aparently... and rushes off before anyone can say a word.

Part 2: Where is she off to... ?

Well, to do something thematically appropriate(you'll see) and reveal what i was hiding. Rudy died. Noelle is devastated but she kept the cheerful mask on in an attempt to not worry anyone... after all, she's fine, right?

Upon learning about dark worlds existing she had a crazy idea."you just channel your will and stab the ground, then BAM! A world of magic at your fingertips". Perhaps she didn't have to accept her loss after all. Well, Rudy's already gone... but revival spells exist, right? It's a long shot but... it's worth a try, right?

Meanwhile, Susie has an idea of her own(;3). For her and Kris drop by Noelle's house to ask her about the code, since they didn't get a chance previously. Carol may get in the way but it's worth a shot. And off they go.

They arrive at the Holiday Manor. Everything is quiet... too quiet... everything's unlocked too. And the windows look strange in a way that feels familiar by now. How odd. Open the door and... yep, it's a dark world.
S:"The knight went too far this time... not that the other times weren't also too far"
And what's left to do but to rush inside and save Noelle from the horrors of the dark... if only it were this easy...

Part 3: The Palace of Frozen Memories:

Inside, our heroes find... a strange landscape. A frigid expanse, filled to the brim with memories immortalized in ice. Kris finds the memories familiar, though Susie finds them rather strange... she sees images of Carol looking rather cheerful, not that strange, but a jarring contrast to the person she met a couple of days ago, "Ralsei, but not quite... wait, isn't that Kris' brother" who knew that photo conversation would come in handy. Whoever that is, he's accompanied by a deer monster susie doesn't recognise. These frozen memories also show... Kris and Noelle... happy, together, doing all sorts of stuff... there's a lot of those... they're... everywhere. "'Just neighbors', she said..."

Well, revealing memories or not, there's a fountain to close and a girl to save, at least as far as Susie knows. Ralsei shows up right on time too. But the reveals were not gonna stop there. A bit further ahead, some darkners spill the beans."Snow princess Noelle, maker of the fountain, bringer of life". Susie is rather shocked by this... she didn't think Noelle would do such a thing. She doesn't know what to make of it. was it her fault? did she bring in the wrong person? did she not warn Noelle enough about the dangers of dark worlds? Hard pill to swallow, especially when it's someone you love. Kris on the other hand seems visibly less shocked. They didn't know anything but felt like this might happen.

Oh, Kris. Ol' reliable Kris. Surely they wouldn't break Susie's trust... surely... right?

Part 4: Polar Showdown

Well, deeper still a cold whisper and the sound of guitar strings echo across the tundra. They echo of Kris' betrail... them trying to hide the code, pulling out their soul, the whole of it. To Susie, it sounds impossible to believe... but... it has to be... if this was that guitar, it would know what took place back there, and what reason would it have to lie?

this... was the final straw... Susie snaps and enters battle with Kris. They try to talk it out, but she wouldn't listen... they try to fight but can't bring themself to hurt their friends...
Eventually Kris gets knocked down... and as the dust settles, Susie feels conflicted about what she did... and, overwhelmed by the emotional weight of... everthing, she runs off with Ralsei going after her.

Kris is left lying down in the frozen wastes... helpless and alone... part of them feels like they deserve it... but... before their vision fades... the noticed something lifting them up and moving them... who knows where

Part 5: Two lost souls, alone, but together

Kris wakes up, lying in a bed.... somewhere unfamiliar. It's chilly... but cozy. They are greeted by a familiar voice "Are you awake yet, Kris?". Though, that voice is not accompanied by a familiar face... as kris gets frightened by the sight of a being that is hard to comprehend.... a stary array of impossible shapes. "Welcome!" it says, then the being reveals itself to be something much more familiar to Kris, Noelle."Did I get you, Kris? It looks like i did! Fahah."Whatever the veil she was coverded by was, Kris would like one too. But that's enough of that silly introduction.

Kris was not in good enough shape to get up yet, but they are in good enough shape for a long talk... if they can manage to communicate(something something, more on that next time). Noelle has already heard of the prior events of kris' journey in this dark world... so they at least don't have to fill her in on that. But beyond that... they talk, or at least try too. About the past, their eventual distancing from each other, their secrets... maybe they have a sweet moment or two in between.

Regardless of the fruitfulness of their discussion, the point is, they're both isolated from their friends and at best on uncertain terms with them. They are alone, but they have each other, and with a bond as strong as theirs, they may just have what it takes to brave this hostile landscape.

To Noelle's surprise, her father was seen alive without her having to do anything, and she knows how to get to him too. This will be her main objective for now. And there may be a few secrets hidden in the snow under aurora glow worth checking out. And perhaps afterwards she'll be okay with her wonderland getting sealed.

And so our two heroes venture off...

I have a theory that may bring some hope

While i can't go into detail rn... I do think the next chapter will have a heavy kriselle focus. It's not the most heavily researched thing but i do see a fair few threads leading to it. And even if i'm dead wrong, it still may amount to some nice fanfic...

I'll probably elaborate at a later time...

until then... have a nice day.
