I think most discussions are centered around what the best or the worst episodes are, and those tend to be very memorable, but what is a Family Guy episode so bland, so incredibly boring (and perhaps overshadowed by much more iconic episodes in a stacked season), that when you look at the plot synopsis you think to yourself: "Really? This was a thing?"

I'd say killing off Diane Simmons had the biggest impact long term. While I love And Then There Were Fewer, what followed was a strong decline for the Channel 5 News sections. Joyce Kinney never meshed with Tom Tucker as well as Diane did. Their chemistry was unmatched. Now it's just Tom by himself anyway, I wish they'd bring back Diane. What are your thoughts? Do you agree, or do you have some other decision in mind that affected the show horribly?
