VAWA Approved → I-485 Timeline: How Long Until Interview?

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone can share their timeline for an I-485 filed separately after VAWA approval.

I-485 filed: 06/2025
Biometrics: 02/2026
Currently at Brooklyn Field Office
EAD: No update since I applied

I contacted USCIS customer service and was told that my I-485 is currently at the Field Office. I have no idea how much longer I might have to wait for the interview.
For those with a similar case, how long did you wait from filing the I-485 to receiving your interview notice? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your timeline. Thank you!

VAWA approval base 1485 address history question

Hi Everyone , I’m currently waiting USCIS schedule I485 interview , My physical address is in New York, tax return, driver license all my documents is New York address. But I recently noticed that one of my Chase bank accounts has my boyfriend's California address listed as both the mailing and physical address since 2023. At that time, I used his address to receive mail, but | forgot to update it. I only changed the address to my Queens, NY address this month.
The California address was not included in my 1-485 five-year address history, I also recently checked my credit reports and noticed that my boyfriend's address appears there as a previous address, which made me worried. Could this address appear during a USCIS background check?
If USCIS sees this address but I did not list it on myl-485, could they consider it a lack of honesty?
Thank you for any advice!

[VAWA] I-485 Interview: Answer from memory or look at forms?

Hi everyone,
For a VAWA-based I-485 interview, can I reference a copy of my forms while answering questions, or do I have to answer entirely from memory?
If I'm not allowed to look at any paperwork, should I ask my lawyer for copies of my I-360 and 1-485 right now so I can start reviewing and memorizing the timelines?
Would love to hear from anyone with experience. Thanks!

VAWA I-485: Checked "No" for unauthorized work by mistake. Send correction now or wait for interview?

Hi all, I am a VAWA applicant currently waiting for my I-485 approval.I just realized a mistake on my form i485 unauthorized employment was checked "No."

However, I actually worked without an EAD between 2020 and 2022 due to gaps ,and I reported tax every year ,

Should I have my lawyer mail a correction package to USCIS ahead of time, or should I just wait until the interview to correct it in person?

If anyone has been in a similar situation, please share your experience or advice. Thank you so much!
