Yesterday afternoon, my iPhone shut down because the battery died. When I plugged it in and turned it on, the "Hello" screen appeared, followed by a message stating that iOS had updated to version 26.4. After that, the Activation Lock screen popped up, asking for my Apple ID email and password. Since I couldn't remember them and had no other way to recover the account, I had to request a password reset via the Apple Support website; they took my details, and the page indicated that I would receive an update within 24 hours, along with a link to reset my password. Has this happened to anyone else? How long did it take for you to get your password reset?
