I kinda hope after they wrap up big city greens they’ll revive this show. For those who don’t know, this was called welcome to simpleton and was about muppet like creatures who lived in a small town in the woods called simpleton. It was originally intended to air on Disney XD at the time it was pitched back in like 2012-2014 ig, but it was unfortunately rejected.
At D23 it has been confirmed a Halloween special will premiere in October and season 6 will officially premiere in the first quarter of 2027. (So January, February or March basically)
I’m new to this subreddit. On paramount plus there are endings missing to some episodes (screw episode, Christmas episode, etc.) does anyone know why this is?
I never knew it was based on a marvel comic. This and wreck it ralph always seems like Pixar movies to me.

Pretty sure they were making the series finale during most of the time, I mean why else would it take so long for this season to come out
It was confirmed yesterday on Twitter that the trailer and key art for season 5 will be released on August 6!
It looks less fluid than the other episodes imo.
It’s amazing how they’ve been able to do heartwarming season finales, wonder what the series finale could be
Although by worst I really mean least favorite since this show is just near perfect

So I don’t know if anyone else saw it, but there was an interview with Bob Joles (VA of Bill) in January about big city greens. When asked what his favorite episode or do was, he said it was a season 5 episode called “Killer Kludge”. It’s about bill thinking his kludge is possessed by the spirit of the hay baler that ate his finger, so cricket tries to prank him and make him paranoid.

Big City Greens, then titled Country Club, was originally meant to premiere on Disney XD, but was switched to Disney Channel along with Ducktales, Big Hero 6 and more moving their premieres from Disney XD due to its low viewership. If this hadn’t happened the do you think every show that came out after BCG, (TOH, Amphibia, etc.) would fit the Disney XD brand?.
