Would you pay someone in Japan to explore/shop for you live? Need honest feedback.
I’m researching an idea and need honest feedback from anime/manga/game fans outside Japan. I’m not selling anything and there’s no link or signup.
Imagine you could book a real person in Japan for 30–60 minutes and see what they see live from your browser.
You could tell them where to walk, which store to enter, what shelf to check, ask them to show you specific figures/merch, visit an anime location, try gachapon/Ichiban Kuji for you, and potentially buy something you choose.
Basically, instead of watching someone explore Akihabara on YouTube, you control the experience yourself.
I’m trying to understand whether this solves a real problem or just sounds cool.
Would you actually use/pay for this? If yes, what would you use it for and what would feel like a reasonable price for 30–60 minutes? If not, what would stop you?
Please be brutal. “I’d never use this” is equally useful.
