Got tired of manually adding audio to my Norwegian cards, so I built an add-on

The workflow was killing me. Find a clip, download, rename, move it intoo collection.media, type [sound:whatever.mp3]. Longer than writing the card.

Now it's: right-click the text in the editor, Add Audio, pick the language, done.

53 languages. There's also a bulk mode that does an entire deck at once — I retrofitted a few hundred existing cards in about two minutes. There's a demo of that on the add-on page:

Anki Audio on AnkiWeb

(or Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons → code 1728105524)

Pricing — €3.99/month. The add-on is open source (AGPL3) but the audio runs through a backend I pay per request for, so there's no free version. 14-day money back.

Solo project, I use it every day. Happy to answer questions.
