I'm an incoming first year who had $500 in outside scholarships, and has full aid. Instead of reimbursing this year, I was wondering on how plausibile it'd be to get future outside shcolarships. Is it common for people to apply and get local/online scholarships in 2nd or 3rd years?

I'm getting an ipad for ~350 and headphones for ~100 this summer, but I'm looking to get a new laptop after sophomore year. I can afford the stuff right now, but don't know what my finances will look like later.

Any advice or consultation is appreciated

Incoming first year wondering how “biological” one can make CBE. I’ve been looking at research and past senior theses, and majority are far more chemical than biological. If I’m confident I wanna do a more biological thesis, is CBE still good for me?

Also, how flexible is the major with other minors. I see the path to grad is pretty set in stone, so is it still plausible to pursue 1 or 2 minors/certificates in related fields (ie bioengineering, env, chem, bio, etc).

Lastly, how hard is it to graduate on time with little to no credit from AP or placement exams?
