CA Job Question
Im an post grad Canadian IMG who didnt match this year (first attempt), I am currently working as a clinical assisstant in ON but i saw in Manitoba theres actually a restricted license to practice as a Clinical Assisstant. I have applied to jobs but didnt hear anything back yet but im on the fence about moving to Manitoba.
On one hand if it makes my chances for residency better, im totally OK with it, but at the same time is there really a big difference because i feel like "Clinical Assisstant" work as an IMG might be intrepeted the same no matter what province you do it in? Granted ON is very competitive i suppose MB would be sensible spot to nest in and make connections.
So is moving to a different province really worth it or should i stay put and keep building experience where i am?
