Since there was so much interest, I went ahead and started the Denton Queer Coffee Club. Yay!

We will kick off in June, meeting every first Sunday at 10 AM and then one evening a month TBD.

Hey, y’all. 👋

I wanted to see if people would be interested in a queer coffee group that would meet up maybe once or twice a month to get coffee, tea, snacks, etc. Most of the queer activities I see online are really loud, overstimulating events and usually late at night. Just not my thing. Maybe it’s not your thing either?

I mentioned to a friend that I wish there were a queer coffee group where we could hang in a chill environment and talk and work on crafts, and she said I should create my own. So yeah, would anyone be interested in that? It could be on a weekday evening or a weekend morning. Open to thoughts and suggestions!

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has responded so far! 😊 I will need to do some thinking about where we would meet up (open to suggestions), when is best (please comment if you have a preference), and how I would get the schedule out (thinking Instagram for now).

EDIT 2: I'm so stoked by the response here! Ok so... I have a question for anyone who wants to answer:

1. Do you prefer a set place and time that stays the same (like, every Sunday at 10 am at X place) OR a roaming time and place (like, June is Wednesday at 7 pm at X place, July is Sunday at 10 am at Y place)?
