Ive been on a self improvement kick for the past week or so which means I got a bunch of apps that will reward me for things like walking or completing challenges like being vegetarian or picking up trash. The prizes are genuinely worth it but theyll take years to get or are completely random. I do think theyre fun tho and we really do need whatever we can so Im going to keep them. Some of the people can get way too competitive over it and its both impressive and a little intimidating. I just realized that its like split between all the type A kids I went to hs with (did debate and law classes and at competitions the air in the room was like half the people in there were ready for an academic war) and the people that literally were bloodthirsty in the early 2000s black Friday over like a toaster. Its pretty entertaining tho like damn guys I know this is why we're all here but chill its a free laptop not the holy grail.
