Panel Interview - potential offer?

You guys!! How do you know if you got the job?

I’m overthinking a panel interview I had about two days ago.
I think it went pretty well, aside from the fact that I stutter when I’m nervous lmfao
But, aside from the that I mean the interview went over time, at some point we were talking about our favorite books, and we even tried to have a conversation in Italian - it was just like a conversation rather than an interrogation imo

They did say the next start date would be either July 13 or August 10th
BUT I don’t remember at all when they told me I’d hear back 😫

Again, I think that interview went pretty well but there’s a chance I might’ve missed some signs or idk, idk I’m just nervous

2nd Round Interview Tips

A little backstory - I was laid off back in April and I have a crappy job now. Crappy because there’s lots of things that were omitted/ not clarified from the beginning, and I’m 100% leaving.

Anyway, I’m hoping to have my own thread with tips - anything you guys might have, what worked for you, a risk you took, etc.

  1. Panel Interview tomorrow with VP & Sr directors (screening was last Friday)
  2. I have another interview tomorrow with the hiring manager
  3. I have another interview on Wednesday with another HM
  4. Another interview for which I’m still waiting for time confirmation (screening was last Wednesday)

Keep in mind, these are all different positions but they’re each in admissions/ advising/ ops

I’ve been through lots of interviews since April, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what I can expect for 2 & 3, but I’ve never had to do a 2nd round for any job, much less a panel interview!!

1099 vs. W2

Hi all!

I recently started a new position, however, before I started, I emailed the recruiter to confirm how the role was being classified - I prefer W2.

This was their response:
“Good questions. This role is classified as a W2 part time role. It is intended to continue based on performance and business needs, with no anticipated end date right now.”

Keep in mind, this person is also Sr Operations

Today was my final training day, and as I was finishing up my onboarding paperwork, I was prompted to fill out a W9.
I asked the Ops person who was assisting with training, and she said we’re 1099, but they’re still needed to meet with legal to confirm.

What do I even do here??
