21M 5’10 193LBS, 7 Days post op appendectomy.

I got my appendectomy 5/6/26 and everything went great until… 3 days ago 5/11/26 where I started noticing some pain in my lower abdomen above my bladder or on my bladder. (No catheter)

I raised my concern to my surgical team and they kind of brushed it off because they’ve never heard anyone have that issue. They did a Urinary analysis with culture and it come back as negative UTI but unfortunately Moderate occult blood and Microscopic hematuria. Erythrocytes of 26 to 100. (5/5/26 Erythrocytes was 11-25 day before surgery) they don’t know why there was initially blood in urine. Was referred to a PCP.

Went to PCP and she did another urine test that showed negative UTI and +2 blood in urine. Was told to come next week for an Abdomen x-ray and dismissed.

I have no idea what this is, on top of all this stress I have a cold sore and viral infection on the way for-sure that’s making my body weakness worse. Any NP or MD please give me your thoughts and opinions on this?

21M, Just did an appendectomy last wednesday and today is tuesday. 6 days post OP barely any abdominal pain, Only pain while urinating and unbearable pain on my lower back if I walk for more than 3 minutes. Anyone went or going thru the same situation please share your experience! Thanks guys hopefully everyone heals and becomes their normal self!

Urination pain happens at the end of the urinarion when I am about to get the last tiny stream out or sometimes don’t because the pain is so unbearable. Took a UTI strip from walgreens and it came back negative but you know how those strips are…

Stool look like a skinny snake if that makes sense and very light brown, Stomach discomfort feels like a stomach bug. Under the ribs pain (Left and right but mostly right). Upper right shoulder and shoulder blade pain.

anyone had or have similar symptoms?
