Does this look right?
I’m questioning the workmanship of the install and I don’t really know what I’m looking at or if it’s legit. Any major issues anyone sees?
Thanks!

I’ve signed 25y contract and panels and battery have been installed. Installation has occurred but not permission to turn on yet.
Reasons I want out
I know I’m not giving a lot of info, just wanted to hear some success stories out there if they exist.
Thanks
Will this pass? Looks like it’s a clear cut violation of the 3ft rule. My gas company is SocalGas. Do inspectors just say “eh, it’s good enough”?
For context, the tape measure is extended to exactly 3ft.
Thanks
INSPECTORS & INSTALLERS (looking for advice)
In California, besides sloppy, is there any glaring problems here? I’ve already been told in another message that the single line between the PW3 shouldn’t have DC and AC in 1 conduit…anything else to note? Appreciate the feedback from professionals as opposed to who did my install.
ADVICE FROM INSTALLERS/CODE EXPERTS OF CA
These are installed directly above a 2” metal natural gas branch pipe that runs to my pool heater. Also in the picture you can see the lower garage airflow vent is within 3ft. Is this legal?
Without going into too much detail because I fear poking the Sunrun legal dragon, I signed a 25y PPA with 0% escalator. There were many inconsistencies with what the sales person told me verbally and textually that upon further review contradict what’s in the contract.
DO NOT TRUST SALES PERSON - GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING IN OFFICIAL CONTRACT!
Apparently there are clauses in the contract that say whatever he says is non-binding.
System is installed but not PTO (permission to turn on), so they have a massive expensive system right now on my home and I have no intention of allowing them to turn on, so this is leverage in my corner. Reasons for not turning on are pretty massive unpermitted work and safety violations with their powerwall 3’s. They most definitely won’t pass a city inspection so my playbook is to use the clause of “a contract can be cancelled by me if I refuse a change order”. They will most definitely have to do extensive work to make this code/safety compliant.
My question: Any success stories out there who are or have been in my shoes? My goal is to get contract cancelled, everything removed, and home restored to original. I am in CA.
Thanks for reading and hope there is a promising end to this ordeal. As others have said…
RUN FROM SUNRUN
Edit 1. I will add one thing about setup. In CA, and have 2” external metal gas line that runs from meter to pool heater directly underneath the Tesla powerwall 3. It’s measured at 1.5’. AI says this is bad, but I can’t find exact code or violation that deals with just a gas line.
