Found this at a local shop. It will need some service as the hairspring (I think, still learning) won’t continue to rotate when held vertically.
I’d like to get into watch making/repair. Not sure if this is the piece to do that with, but I’ve been eyeing pocket watches along with wrist watches.
Looking for informed thoughts and opinions on if it’s a good piece to learn on (parts available etc) or should I get a professional?
This winter I cleared the fence line by hand with a mini chainsaw. Huge pain and very time consuming! Looking for tips (hopefully sprays) that can help manage the growth on the fence line.
Needs to be dog friendly. I’ve considered a dawn/salt water mix but I’m not sure how careful I need to be preserving the plants and trees I actually want to keep for shade.
P.s. We plan to repurpose that satellite dish into a pavilion/pergola in the middle of the yard with pavers heading to it. That’ll be next year, or year afterwards project more than likely😊
