Hello, recently my family got a 180x180 saluspa hottub. We’ve had it only for a few days but honestly it’s been a lot of work, in a good way. Though my parents wouldn’t listen to be when I said to put in the starting chemicals as soon as possible. Even though they did, They’ve used it everyday, even when the ph and alkaline were too high. My dad took the filter off last night to apparently “clean out the pump with chlorine”

This morning my sister opened it and it was filled with yellow apparently slimy chunks, and we just now got the ph and alkaline decreaser. We’re trying to filter it all out but I’m not sure what else to do if the ph doesn’t go down or the gunk is still remaining

I’m more pissed off at my parents cause they never listened to anything I said about the hot tub even tho I researched and tried to get the hottub PROPERLY ready and not just dump chemicals in and some later after a few times of use.

Any ways and tips to help maintain PH levels, maintain the hottub and reduce the weird gunk?

I’ve heard around the community that people don’t like the ones who prevent others on going to their plot to look around, whether they’re home or not.

I for one don’t like it when people go on my plot unannounced and just look around without asking, it feels weirdly awkward and invasive, but people throw a fuss whenever I go on build mode/tell them to go. Literally, just ask me if u could check out my plot or just tell me you’re gonna see it, I never say no to that😭
