ConfirmID questions
Hoped to get more info on the $45 ConfirmID requirements. My mom has a terminal illness so I’m taking her on one last vacation, but then found out she had never obtained a real ID because she never expected to fly again.
I paid the $45 for confirmID, but wondered if anyone can tell me how it works once we get to the airport. I plan to bring her ID card, Social Security card, birth certificate, and proof of residence in the form of a letter from my employer (because we live in employee housing and have a post office box on our ID cards.) Is there anything I’m forgetting that might make this easier for us and TSA? Do we just go to security and flash the receipt or do we stop by at TSA office when we arrive at the airport? What will the process look like at security?
