Randomized Ability Run Complete

2nd playthrough and went with randomized abilities this run. Definitely a lot easier, but still super fun and engaging. Only rule was no legends or ubermon and ended up with a unique squad. Desolate Land Typhlosion for the win

Rain Team = Easy Mode

I've been experimenting with different teams for the Elite 4 and have beat it a handful of times. By far, this was the smoothest run and I never had to reload a save state. Rain is definitely OP, and the team was a rough draft but still dominated.

Champion! (First Play Through)

Holy cow... What a game. I found it more challenging than radical red, especially the pokemon league... I played on Normal Mode with the wild pkmn randomizer enabled, but wanted to make sure to beat the E4 without any legendaries or ubermon. The AI switches and move predictability for my switches were nuts.

Please share your teams for E4!!! (not interested in uber or legend teams tbh)

Mega Sceptile: Technician [mega], Sceptilite, Jolly (252 spd, 252 atk, 6 hp) earthquake, swords dance, bullet seed, dual chop

Aerodactly: Unerve, Life Orb, Jolly (252 spd, 252 atk, 6hp) earthquake, rock slide, dual wingbeat, stealth rock

Gengar: Levitate, Focus Sash, Timid (252 spd, 252 sp atk, 6 sp def) shadow ball, sludge wave, focus blast, destiny bond

Grimsnarl: Prankster, Light Clay, Careful (252 hp, 142 def, 116 sp def) light screen, reflect, parting shot, spirit break

Toxapex: Regenerator, Black Sludge, Calm (252 hp, 200 sp def, 52 def, 6 sp atk) toxic, baneful bunker, recover, hydro pump

Kingambit: Supreme Overlord, Black Glasses, Adamant (252 hp, 252 atk, 6 def) sucker punch, kowtow cleave, iron head, low kick

Trying to Craft the Best Sun Team

This is my current and best version of a Sun Team in radical red. Just went 10-0 in the battle simulator on normal before stopping. Please offer suggestions or share your best Sun teams in this game, I'm looking for ideas.

Charizard - timid, solar power, charizardite y (blast burn, air slash, protect, solar beam)

Incineroar - careful, intimidate, sitrus berry (dark lariat, fake out, flare blitz, parting shot)

Flutter Mane - modest, assault vest, protosynthesis (shadow ball, power gem, psyshock, moonblast)

Torkoal - quiet, heat rock, drought (rapid spin, earth power, protect, weatherball)

Great Tusk - jolly, choice scarf, protosynthesis (stone edge, headlong rush, play rough)

Shiftry - adamant, life orb, chlorophyll (foul play, parting shot, low kick, solar blade)

I open with Charizard and mega into either protect or an attack if it's safe. The next switch is usually to either Great Tusk or Flutter Mane depending on attack style (unless stone shards is up). Usually Incineroar next when sunlight fades to lower attack and get some chip damage in before switching to Torkoal. Shiftry is fast and hits hard with Solar Blade and parting shot provides a nice transition into other sweepers
