When do I need to have flats sorted out by?

Im a first year and staying at uni accommodation for now, but plan on moving to a flat with a couple mates for second year. its rly starting to stress me out bc so many ppl I know have said they already have their flat sorted out but everything listed on the market currently is for June move in and im not trying to move in until August; don't wanna waste summer rent money whilst being back home.

I come from an English background where everyone has their flats sorted from winter time, and even though I know people say Scotland has a much large margin, this is still all so new to me so I have no clue just how much wiggle room there really is. Im worried there won't be anything on the market by August.

so do y'all reckon I can wait until July for August listings or is that pushing my luck and I aughta just take the loss and find something now?

is there a story behind the Murano bridge

I walk past the bridge near Murano alll the time but I recently found out it's known colloquially as 'stabby' bridge or its even less pleasant name 'rapey' bridge. Tried googling it but nothing came up. Is there any truth to the name? or is it just based on the vibe of the bridge, as in, secluded, eery, dark. the kind of place someone would get stabbed if they were to get stabbed at all.

is wining giving y'all knee osteoarthritis?

if you wine then you know the movement is actually coming from your knees, and the hips are just moving as a consequence of the knee motions.

for context im a frequent dancer (few times a week) and I always wine exclusively with my left knee just bc it's my dominant leg and I can never seem to find the rhythm on the other side. anyway lately that knee (left) has been experiencing intermittent discomfort bordering on pain every now and again. of course it could be unrelated but I thought id ask anyway and see if y'all are experiencing this phenomenon

edit: im getting flamed in these comments rn  😭 to clear a few things up

A) I am not white nor old lol

B) I shura clarified what I meant: when I said wining I don't mean just the move in isolation, I meant more like the way Tyla does it where you're moving across the dance floor as you wine. so your knee has to twist in and out in the direction your moving toward (right or left)
