I was wondering what is the best way to use mikazuki Geri? I have asked a few people about this and they all said it’s a crappy kick that serves no purpose. I don’t feel this way. There has to be a right way to use it. Otherwise it wouldn’t be in kata? Also, why do you strike your own hand when doing it in kata? Please help me understand this.
