EP distributed but one song is ridiculously low
Have any one experienced this before? I distributed a 4 track EP with distrokid, all songs were mastered to -11LUFS professionally, multiple checks were made to ensure the accuracy of the loudness, Izotope RX analysis, Wavelab Mastering Analysis, Youlean Loudness Meter and lastly a TC electronic Clarity M stereo (hardware metering).. but to my greatest surprise, one track off the EP on all streaming platforms is currently very low in loudness/volume, it’s literally -38LUFS. How is this possible? I contacted support, first person said it’s a settings on individual devices which is totally bull, second and third support staff has put me in the “we have sent this to the appropriate team” loop. I can’t promote the song because of this, my listeners are sending me DM’s that the song is too low in loudness, my Engineering friends are texting me “wth is wrong with track %#”… i have never experienced this before. It has also created a very unpleasant listening experience for my fans. Just so disappointed ☹️
