My current situation , in 40 ‘s not working, live in India on rent, single F with a pet, OCI , I pay taxes in both countries.

Inherited $600 k last year.

I want to buy a house, but where? And how much should I spend on it?

As of now I’ve left everything in dollars.

I plan to start working again soon but have gotten very lazy.
