[Portfolio] i might be screwed...

So I made a piece of drawing, nothing special expect its a character from Rick and Marty, Evil Morty in his spacesuit. And I submitted for a schoolastic art compation and won a silver key...​ My mom INSISTED on using the same character for future drawings with similar topic of escapism but I'm VERY unsure on what to do, its a existing character and I know colleges dont really like characters that isnt originally mine... Do I add it to my portfolio? do I tweak the design till it's unrecognizable??...

take this with a grain of salt but KACEY MY OC (READ DESC FOR MORE)

Kacey basically sells cats in her shop, age ranging from 1 to retired cats, their stats and the breed are randomized but some cats can have really good stats if lucky.

Kacey is a younger sister of Tracey(obviously) she is more calm and shy but shes very passionate about helping cats like her older sister. She rarely gets angry although there is times where she scolds rude people who dosen't care about the cat's well-beings. Overall, she is introverted, but very kind and helpful to cat owners who are interested in adopting.

Kacey lets her cats do or be whatever they would like to be, she lets older cats to roam around Boon Country but very cautious with the weaker and younger cats. She only has one cat as her personal pet, Cebolla(thank you u/Significant_Ad_1626) . Kacey will get upset if you try to adopt Cebolla.

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK??? WHAT SHOULD I CHANGE OR ADD??? QUESTIONS??? plz im still new and desperate😭😭
