[OOT] Tips to avoid getting frustrated with the game?

This might be a weird question to ask but I’m just incredible frustrated with the game. Maybe it’s skill issue i don’t know.

For context it’s the first time I’m playing the game (the N64 version). I’m trying to play all the games in the series because I really like Zelda games and I have played a lot of them (Alttp, albw, la, mc, oox, botw, ss, ww and eow)

But with this game I’m seriously struggling with frustration. It’s a fun game and I like it but I can’t help but to feel frustrated a lot, and when I play Zelda games I try to do everything I can but with OOT I can’t help but just want to finish it as quickly as possible. It just feels a bit like a chore? For example, Skyward Sword was also frustrating some times (Fi reminding me of the batteries ehem) but I still really liked the game a lot and ended up doing the 100% because it was really fun.

Currently I’m at the Shadow Temple, trying to kill Bongo Bongo and it’s super frustrating. I liked doing the Spirit Temple (I think it’s the best one) but I suffered with Twinrova quite a lot (couldn’t get the hang out of the mirror shield). I’m also suffering A LOT with the camara. I also liked the Water Temple it was fun but the fight with Dark Link was also super frustrating (I did Water before Fire Temple so I had to the fight with just the sword and it took me 6 tries).

I want to enjoy the game to the fullest, but I don’t know what to do. Any tips in how to improve my experience? Maybe I’m just doing things wrong or something.

First time playing a Metroid game, loving it so far!

This is my first time playing a Metroid game, and since I’m a sucker for pixelart, I decided to start off with Fusion :). It’s a really fun game! Really love the gameplay and how everything is designed. Also liking how it’s not really a very long game

I was researching what game to play next, and saw that Zero Mission is very similar to this one. I’m open to recommendations, please tell me games similar to this one because I love it!!

[OoA] Help with Goron Dance

I swear I’m going crazy. I love this game, it’s pretty fun, like straight up 10/10. I’m now at the part where you have to do the Goron Dance minigame. For the life of me, I can’t do it, I think it’s skill issue but I just can’t. Any tips?? I can get the timing right most of time, but I just, can’t remember correctly the rhythm.

Please any tips, I’m desperate hahaha I want to continue the game!!

Finally I got myself a job, so the first thing I did as a responsible adult is to spend it on Zelda games and merch!

I’m currently playing Wind Waker (love it btw it’s so fun haha, and also got myself a Wii U which was one of my childhood dreams !!) what game should I play next? :D

(I’ve already played ALBW but I don’t mind another one, it’s my favorite!)
