The disconnect between intention and action
A phenomenon that is significantly more common in people with ADHD than the general population: focusing so much on THINKING about doing something that you forget to actually DO it.
Just this morning, I was supposed to get some things into the house before work, so they don't get wet in the rain that's supposed to come later. It wasn't until a few minutes ago that I realized I didn't actually do it, and now I'm already at work.
Anyone else have stories about this that they'd like to share?
