I’m a beginner at strength training, too short * my feet aren’t touching the platform..

I did seated leg press instead on a different neighboring machine, is that an adequate substitution? Am I missing a way to adjust this machine?

5’0 Stats

My most recent stats, wanting to know if my goals of loosing fat (and keeping it off) and being lean will ever be possible.

Currently have my calories at 1550 and it’s so difficult to not over eat. As a full time employee, I would regularly make 10k steps in a day but recently my hours have been cut so that’s been more challenging.

Recently got a gym membership and it’s been looking like a 10 min cardio of some sort to warm up then some weights, I tried upper body soreness for about 3 days went back chose to do a mix a full body, I’m unbelievably sore. Not sure how people are consistently dealing with soreness especially when working etc. it hurts. Very bad.

Trying to get more protein in, having to start changing food into a fuel mindset and I would like to take on meal prepping I just don’t know what to make or how long to keep it all.

A couple months ago I lost 10 pounds keeping cals at 1450 and it’s the most progress I had made but got exhausted and stop tracking and now I’m back.

Any tips, advice?
